peruvian mountain spring salt
|
Deep beneath the Andes Mountains, the remnants of an ancient ocean feeds a
spring that emerges 10,000 feet high in Maras, Peru. In a valley that was
sacred to the Incans, the warm spring water is channeled into terraced ponds.
Local families have used these ponds for 2000 years to harvest salt. This
hand harvested salt has a creamy color with a slight pink cast.
suggested uses:
- Delicious on raw vegetables.
- Try on freshly sliced tomatoes with cracked black pepper.
We are delighted to offer our peruvian mountain spring salt in a 4.2 oz plastic grinder
top jar. Keep one of these attractive grinders next to the stove or on the table
to conveniently add delicious, freshly ground peruvian mountain spring salt to your favorite foods.
