A traditional holiday drink, eggnog has its roots in European traditions of wine
and milk punches. In the new world rum was used instead of wine.
George Washington loved eggnog and developed his own recipe that included
whiskey, rum and sherry.
Although most often consumed at holidays, the delicious flavors of eggnog can be
enjoyed year round with our eggnog flavor extract. This creamy flavor with
hints of rum and nutmeg can be substituted for vanilla extract in any recipe.
