If you are looking for a safe, natural way to repel pests in your home, try
peppermint oil. This pure essential oil is safe enough to use in food but
its strong, clear smell deters many household pests.
Here are some ways that our customers have used peppermint oil for pest
control:
- Peppermint Spray - Fill a quart size spray bottle with water. Add 10 -15 drops of peppermint oil and shake well. This peppermint spray can be used to deter the following pests:.
- Ants - Identify where the ants are coming in. Kill the ants coming in by vaccuming. After you have removed as many ants as possible, clean the area and spray with peppermint spray. The strong smell creates an area that ants won't cross.
