french spiced ham
featuring faerie's quatre epices
small smoked ham - approx 2 lbs
2 tsp faerie's
quatre epices
1/4 of a pineapple diced (1-1/4 cups)
1/2 cup bourbon whiskey
1/2 cup brown sugar
Rub ham on both sides with one teaspoon of the quatre epices.
Mix together diced pineapple, whiskey, brown sugar and remaining quatre epices.
Spread mixture over the ham. Cover with foil and bake in a 325 degree oven for 40 minutes.
This dish is delicious served with
winter spice sweet potatoes
and
red pepper pineapple
. One whole pineapple will make all three recipes.
