red pepper pineapple

featuring faerie's quatre epices and garlic salt

1 red pepper, cut in half and sliced
½ pineapple, sliced
1 tsp faerie's garlic salt
1 tsp quatre epices

  • Saute sliced peppers in canola or soybean oil for about 3 minutes.
  • Spread pineapple slices on top.
  • Sprinkle liberally with garlic salt and quatre epices.
  • Mix everything thoroughly and cook over medium heat about 10 minutes.
This dish is delicious served with french spiced ham and winter spice sweet potatoes.  One whole pineapple will make all three recipes.
