featuring faerie's sour apple sugar

1 oz vodka
1 oz sour apple schnapps
1 oz apple juice
sour apple sugar for rimming

Before mixing, pour some sour apple sugar on a small plate.
Dip rim of a cocktail (martini) glass in water, shake off excess then dip into sugar - turning to get even sugar coverage on the rim of the glass.

Pour all ingredients into a shaker.
Shake well and strain into the cocktail glass rimmed with sour apple sugar.
Add a slice of green apple to garnish.
